Product Description

Red Worms are nature's rototilling composters. They ingest organic matter as they move throughout the upper layers of your garden's soil leaving nutrient-rich castings in their wake. Soil is aerated, pH neutralized and full of microbial and enzymatic activity when our squiggly friends are around. Red worms are used in compost piles and specialized bins to rapidly transform kitchen wastes and other organic matter into worm castings which can be added to garden soil or house plants for improved soil. We cannot ship red worms to locations with temperatures below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit).  Because beneficial insects ship from a different location, you might not receive them on the same day as the rest of your order.
